Anti Aging Skin Care That Nurtures Natural Collagen Production

  • Sharebar

Attempting to locate an effective
anti
aging skin care product
is like attempting to find a needle in
a haystack.   There is a bundle of straw out there, but very few
needles.  The information here should help you to find something that
works.   First, let’s look at what doesn’t work.

Collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are 3 ingredients that do not work
when applied topically.   The skin care producers seem to be
capitalizing on the consumer’s sparse knowledge concerning those compounds.

Collagen and elastin are elementary proteins used by the body to make the
elastic fibers responsible for the skin’s firmness.   The body
produces fewer elastic fibers as we age.   So the skin starts to
sag and wrinkle.   Reduced collagen output also makes the skin’s
layers more clear, which is one of the reasons that older people are more
likely to have dark circles under their eyes. Using a
skin
firming cream
on a day-to-day basis can provide a significant
solution.

Collagen injections are one of the most popular spa treatments to reduce
wrinkles.   Elastin, hyaluronic acid and artificial fillers are
also used.  The point of the injections is not to stimulate the skin’s
collagen content or in any way increase the production of elastin fibers.

The shots are not truly anti aging skin care treatments.
Their sole purpose is to fill up the skin’s fatty tissue layer, which
stretches out wrinkles and makes fine lines disappear.

Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient naturally present in the skin’s layers.
It helps to keep it smooth, firm and strong.   The skin’s
hyaluronic acid content decreases with age due to increased enzymatic
activity.  The enzyme breaks down the hyaluronic acid.

Applying hyaluronic acid topically will not help to fix the problem.
The enzymes simply break that down as well.

The elastin & collagen present in skin care products has been rendered
ineffective by processing.  The cells of the skin can't use it.
By now, you might think that there are no effective
anti
wrinkle creams
.  Don’t be discouraged.

Wakame kelp extracts limit the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, thus
naturally raising the levels present in the skin.   The result is
improved firmness and smoothness.

The keratin protein can be processed gently, allowing it to retain its
function.  Creams containing it have clinically proven to reduce
wrinkles, improve elasticity and moisturize thoroughly.

The antioxidant coenzyme Q10 makes an effective anti aging skin care
cream.  There is some good stuff out there.  You just have to know
where to look.
