Mmmmm - if you only knew where Vaseline comes from you would not put it on your skin lol
We use a company that refuses to use 3000 chemicals (many of which are being used in main stream products) We don't test on animals and these are safe for everyone from the toughest Aussie farmer to the most delicate new born baby
Happy to do a bit of recommending - got rid of my adult acne (at 52 its not a good look) solutionforu@bigpond.com

My personal favorite is to take a bath everyday cause it exfoliates your dead skin cells. Other great ways are to use Vaseline and Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion everywhere EVERY NIGHT!! It really works after a couple of days!!

For pimples breakouts and good skin in general proactive (little spendy for me round 50 for starter kit thing) They have stuff for sensitive skin. They also have masks and scrubs and whatnot. Reduces/clears breakouts and just improves over all skin look. Hope that helps

I use various Lush products, which I absolutely love. But if you don't have a store near you, I would suggest trying products from Aveeno. I also have sensitive skin and these products worked amazingly well for me. It really all depends on you though. What works for one, may not for another.
However, I can suggest the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. I use this stuff three times a week and it's definitely made a difference in my skin. In fact, I have it on right now. My face feels cleaner, tighter, and smoother from the minute I wash it off.
Sorry if my suggestions were too vague. I can definitely give you a few skin care tips though: Don't be lazy when it comes to your skin. Find a simple, but effective routine and stick to it. Cleanse, tone, spot treatment (if needed), and moisturize. Masks and exfoliants shouldn't be used everyday, but they're definitely an important part of keeping your skin clear. I exfoliate as well as use a mask, three times a week. Drink plenty of water, make sure you're getting at least your eight glasses a day. Sleep is important as well. Don't touch, pick, or rub your face during the day. Your hands are full of bacteria, don't spread it to your face. Well, I think I covered the basics.
Hope this helped a bit!

Apricot scrub (st. ives), foaming facial cleanser(mix the cleanser and the scrub in your hand and wash your face well with it), astringent, and a good OIL FREE moisturizer( all from clean and clear). I use this combo and my skin is nearly flawless.

well, your options for skin care really depends on how much your willing to spend. Ive used soe skin care stuff from avon and it was pretty good [i used it when i was about 11], my breakouts got a little worse with the more stress middle school piled on me so i started using proactive, now that im in my freshman year of high school my mom started selling mary-kay. its a bit expensive but works pretty well. Also, another good tip is when your washing moisturizing and so on rub in circles and upwards not down and in lines because that will cause you to shove dirt into your pores instead of getting it all out and getting all of your make up off. i hope this helps you and may god bless.
mary kay-think pink.

St. Ives really does work.
Neutrogena, I believe? has an oil-free moisturizer. The "top" of mine is orange, if that helps.
I don't use much apart from those two.
EDIT: Clean & Clear products are a hit or miss, or at least to me.
One of their products is great when my face is really oily, but otherwise, it's too harsh & removes too much.
The only one I trust no matter what is the pimple cream thing. I can't think of the name. It comes in a small tube & is usually about 5 bucks.
You didn't name this, but oil strips/oil-blotting strips, which I believe are by Clean & Clear too, are great for during the schoolday. It removes excess oil without smudging anything.

Save St. Ives for the body not the face. St. Ives is a shell of a nut that is rigid, rough and very long term damaging to the skin. A good exfoliant should be rounded and smooth. Professional products are the best of course. You being a teenager can't afford these products. Try using dove's creme exfoliant for the face. Origins has wonderful products made with white tea. Burts bee's is wonderful as well. There products are all natural. I like there creme cleanser. It tingles the skin leaving it fresh and bright. Talk your parents into letting you get a professional facial from a salon or spa. I'm an esthetician and have worked on teenagers before. You will love it I gurantee!

1) Benzoyl peroxide products like Oxy 10 Face Wash or Panoxyl Bar (kills bacteria & best for oily skin)
OR
2) Salicylic face wash like Aveeno Positively Clear Daily Cleansing Pads (clears away old skin cells; a little easier on the skin than bp)
3) Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask has clay & bp. Best used as a mask. (once or twice a week)
