What are the Best Skin Care Products?

  • Sharebar

Expensive brand name skin care products must work, right? Otherwise why would people pay so much for them? The answer of course is the clever marketing. Big cosmetic companies spend millions of dollars on marketing, which of course is included in the price of the product!

Expensive brand name products are a waste of money, you are paying for the name, the pretty glass container, the advertising & marketing and all the testing of this product.

If a product is based on mineral oil (no matter what the cost) It is not going to be absorbed into the skin. The only things that will be absorbed are the chemicals with small enough molecules to pass through the epidermis. Some of these chemicals will sit in the fatty tissues of the body (such as the breast tissue) and can build up over time causing potential cancer risk.

If you are buying an expensive skin care product, you are buying a dream. Don’t waste your money! So what are the best skin care products? Natural skin care is safer and works better in my opinion

Another thing to watch for in a product is can the ingredients actually be absorbed into your skin? We often see products that contain collagen and/or elastin. Both are vital ingredients for firm skin. However both collagen and elastin cannot be absorbed directly into the skin, the molecules are simply too big!

The only way to increase collagen in your skin is to encourage collagen production within the skin itself…..

This is and excerpt from my book “Rediscover Your Youth” which teaches natural ways to protect your skin from the ravages of time and save money in the process.
